I’ve gotten the list of all those that have signed up for a subcription to my site, to be notified by email everytime there is a new post.
Tomorrow I’ll put all the names in a box and have one of my girls pick out a winner. I’ll then announce it here on my site and also email the winner to discuss the details!!

I just got a reminder from my calendar that I need to pick a winner
for a free print for subscribing to my site!!
Well, I lost that post when my website got moved by my server
and forgot all about it!!
So, here it is again . . . .

What is the best times of the day for taking pictures?
Although no-one gave the answer I was looking for, I want to send each of you a little something to Thank You for your participation.
Please write to me via the Contact Me page and send me your mailing address and I will send a little something your way 
Although there will always be exceptions to every rule, there are 2 times of the day that are usually the best for taking photos. This can be photos of people and-or other things and again, there are always exception. But if I am going to schedule an outdoor photo shoot I will usually try to do it during these 2 times of the day. I’m sure most of you have heard of the “golden hour” and there are actually 2 of them a day.
The answer is . . . . .
Just before and just after Sunrise and Sunset.
The light during these 2 times generally has a warmer, more rich color. The light has a much softer effect and seems to wrap itself around everything.
Have you ever looked outside just before or after sunset and everything seems to just be glowing?
It is so beautiful and this is an amazing time to get some good pictures!!!

I totally and completely love babies!!!
I had the great pleasure and fun of photographing some
little ones last year and I wanted to share a few of
their images with you.

If you haven’t read my other post, I had A real problem when my hosting service moved my files to another server, for maintenance purposes. In doing so it made my site not work at all!!! I’ve reinstalled most things and I am working on getting the rest of it back up and running.
Here’s the problem; there are a few of you who submitted a comment with your answer to possibly win a Free 8×10 print of your choice. I have no access to those comment, so I need you to please re-submit your answers. I am so very sorry for this and I hope you will accept my apology and know that the loss of that data was out of my hands.
I do remember Virginia and Sam but I am struggling with who else submitted a comment. I also need to extend the deadline since my site was down for 2 days.
